Zen Pinball 2 Iron & Steel package contains two new pinball tables for Zen Pinball. The two new downloadable only tables are CastleStorm Pinball and Wild West Rampage Pinball. Prices vary on these tables depending on which system you get it for. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for Zen Pinball 2 Iron & Steel on the PSN, and it was played on the PS Vita.

Are you familiar with the CastleStorm downloadable only video game on current home consoles? If so then you have a very good head start in terms of understanding what CastleStorm Pinball is based on. Zen Studios took that franchise and made a pinball table out of it. More than a pinball table actually since CastleStorm Pinball is very interactive. Soldiers will appear on the table and hitting them with your ball will knock them off and grant you points.

Wild West Rampage Pinball is a Wild West themed pinball table. In my opinion Wild West Rampage Pinball is a lot harder than CastleStorm Pinball. Something with the table layout sends the ball right through the middle much quicker and more often. Maybe I was not able to figure out the table as easily. Different people are better at different styles. Plenty of corny Wild West jokes can be heard in Wild West Rampage Pinball.

Zen Pinball 2 Iron & Steel is another two pack table set from Zen Studios. I miss the past when Zen Studios sent out three tables in a package at a time. I also wonder how much longer will it be before Zen Pinball 3 is released. I am also hoping for a physical copy retail version of multiple tables on the Nintendo 3DS. I think ten tables on a cartridge would sell really well.

Zen Pinball 2 Iron & Steel includes the leaderboards so you can see how well you perform with your friends (if you have any), and others online. There is violence here and there in Zen Pinball 2 Iron & Steel. More prevalent in the CastleStorm Pinball. There is also some language issues in this package. Zen Pinball 2 Iron & Steel contains two solid tables with interesting themes. This is what we have come to expect from Zen Studios.
