Adventures in Babysitting

I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a retail version of Adventures in Babysitting for this review. This is a new Disney movie. This is not the 1987 movie of the same name, and similar plot. There are two main young ladies in Adventures in Babysitting. One is an artistic free spirit, and the other one is prim, proper, and very much in control at all times. SPOILER! They learn from one another and become more like the other one in the end.

Both of the girls are going for a photography internship. They have an accident and their phones get swapped. This leads the artistic girl to take on a babysitting job for money. The girl that has it all together has a completely different baby sitting gig. She finds out about a fire at the other house, and comes on over. From there they lose a kid, and chase after him in the city. Things get worse as an odd ferret is discovered, and thieves chase them around the city.

Adventures in Babysitting has plenty of funny moments. There are also numerous Home Alone kind of comedic violent acts. Adventures in Babysitting teaches us to live outside the box, and to go for it, even when it makes us uncomfortable. Wives are shown as in charge, and the head of the household. Which is rebellion against how God set up the world as taught in the Holy Bible.

There is plenty of lying and deception in Adventures in Babysitting. There are a couple of moments in the movie where the babysitters decide to come clean with the various misdeeds to the parents. Ultimately they decide to continue to lie and deceive. There is one picture in the credits that makes me think they might actually have to come clean based on pictures taken of the night.

The extras in Adventures in Babysitting are never before seen bloopers, and a magnetic photo frame. The babysitting rules in Adventures in Babysitting are Never Take Your Eyes Off The Kids, Leave No Child Behind, No Visitors, Observe Bedtimes, and When in Doubt Call for Help. There are also four ideas on things to do. They are Play Games, Watch Disney's Adventures in Babysitting, Plan A Fun Activity, and Serve Healthy Snacks.
