Aenigma Os
SCORE: 75
Aenigma Os is a digital downloadable title on the Wii U. Family
Friendly Gaming was given a code to download and play this puzzle game.
At first I was going to call Aenigma Os a match three video game. That
would not be accurate. We are not technically matching three. We find a
yellow orb and look for other yellow orbs on the same line. Tap the
yellow orb and if there are enough of them on that line then you can tap
the other one. Don't worry it will be highlighted if you can or can not.
I went into the rules and read about Aenigma Os. There can be a certain
number before there are too many in the way. I re-read those
instructions a couple of times. Generally it made sense to me. At times
I could not match ones that I thought I should be able to. So ultimately
my understanding of the nuances of Aenigma Os is not there. I did get
better the more I played this puzzle game though. More by feel and doing
than true understanding.
Aenigma Os has Campaign, Quick Play, Puzzle, Multiplayer, Arcade,
Challenges, Leaderboards, Options, Credits, and more. The music in
Aenigma Os is nice. I liked listening to it. I heard voices here and
there but could not quite discern what they were saying. The visuals on
the Wii U Gamepad look good. As do the ones on the TV screen. Please
note Aenigma Os is a totally off screen game. I could not find a way to
show the game play action on the television set.
One of my suggestions for Aenigma Os is to show the game play on the
television screen. I had some people come by and try and figure out what
I was doing. They were looking at the television screen and could not
share in suggesting which objects to go for next. It took me a few tries
to adapt to the game play in Aenigma Os. Once I did I was off to the
races.
One of the coolest things in Aenigma Os is the timer will get time added
to it when good matches are made. I loved knowing I added a cushion to
my timer in this regard. I learned the flow in Aenigma Os eventually.
Once I did I was racking up the points. The puzzle section of Aenigma Os
taught me better ways to play Aenigma Os and ultimately how the game
works. Players take turns on the Wii U Gamepad in the multiplayer mode.
