Family Friendly Gaming was provided a digital download code for Alice
In Wonderland on the Wii U. This game is selling for $5.00, which is a
good price for a digital version of the Alice In Wonderland book. There
are some amazing screen shots in Alice In Wonderland too. I loved seeing
some of the amazing screen shots that were in Alice In Wonderland. The
characters are done in art work on top of the screen shots.
There are screens in Alice In Wonderland that are just amazing pictures
of nature, or other pictures. There is some nice music that plays in the
background of Alice In Wonderland as well. Then there are the voice
actors that read out the book for those that want to listen to Alice In
Wonderland on the Wii U. I enjoyed the narrator personally. He does a
good job in Alice In Wonderland.
I wish Alice In Wonderland would flow from start to finish within a
chapter. Whether I read the novel or it was read to me, Alice In
Wonderland stops at the end of each page/slide. I wish it would auto
flow from one page to the next one. That is a personal preference. Maybe
the option being offered would be cool. I hope that is a feature added
in a future game from Brave Rock Games.
There are twelve chapters in Alice In Wonderland. It can take numerous
hours to go through all of Alice In Wonderland. I wanted to quit half
way through one of the chapters in Alice In Wonderland because I needed
to go and do something else. I could not find a button, or a place to
tap on the screen to make it out. I finally hit the home button giving
up on finding a way out of a chapter.
If you are using the Wii U Gamepad then you must tap the screen to move
on to the next one. If you have a Wii Remote you can press the 'A'
button to progress. Please note all of the words need to load first in
Alice In Wonderland. I did not find a way to speed up the words being
loaded on the screen. Alice In Wonderland can be used to help kids learn
to read. The words are on the small side though.
