Altitude0 Lower & Faster
SCORE: 66
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for
Altitude0 Lower & Faster on Steam. This aerial racing Personal Computer
(PC) video game clocks in just under a gig. Altitude0 Lower & Faster is
a downloadable only video game as well. To my knowledge there are no
physical copies of Altitude0 Lower & Faster available at retail for
those in the physical copy movement.
The graphics in Altitude0 Lower & Faster show their indie roots. Planes
look really messed up after hitting things. Just avoid hitting things
you say? Easier said than done. The controls are a bit loose in
Altitude0 Lower & Faster. The controller we use here at Family Friendly
Gaming worked with Altitude0 Lower & Faster. So that was a nice
surprise. Trying to fly through those poles inside the rings is not an
easy task in some courses.
Players start out learning how to fly on seventeen license tracks. From
there they can go into the twenty-seven user tracks. Players will race
against the ghost racers of other players. That means I ran into
offensive images that other players had as their identifying picture.
Enticement to lust, and more can be seen in Altitude0 Lower & Faster.
Which is a shame because Altitude0 Lower & Faster could have been really
family friendly.
I crashed into all kinds of things while playing Altitude0 Lower &
Faster on the PC. Poles, rocks, trees, the ground, barrels of hay, and
more. It took me many tries to get used to the controls in Altitude0
Lower & Faster. I also went in there and inverted them since I like to
press up to go up, and press down to go down. I am picky about those
kinds of things.
The music is okay in this difficult downloadable only video game. I like
the idea of earning racing points from racing in the different tracks. I
wish Altitude0 Lower & Faster let players go through the circles and not
the poles. The margin for error in Altitude0 Lower & Faster is really
thin, short, and small. I like the idea behind Altitude0 Lower & Faster.
I wish there was a mode that was more friendly to casual and family
gamers.
