The march to Christmas here at Family Friendly Gaming is in full
swing. Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip is the latest DVD to enter
this realm. This movie follows the tried and true format of the Chipmunk
movies. Things start fine, get bad, then get worse, and finally things
are set right in the end. Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip teaches
families some interesting things.
Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip is all about Dave dating this
female doctor, and the son of the doctor (Miles) torments the Chipmunks.
Alvin, Simon, and Theodore find an engagement ring and jump to the
conclusion that Dave is going to propose. So Miles and the Chipmunks
join forces to stop the marriage proposal. The Chipmunks stow away on
the plane, get caught and get put on the no fly list.
Like other Chipmunk movies there is plenty of music in Alvin and the
Chipmunks The Road Chip. Some of it I knew and other songs were foreign
to me. The Air Marshall is tortured mercilessly in Alvin and the
Chipmunks The Road Chip. Law enforcement is really attacked in Alvin and
the Chipmunks The Road Chip. So are male characters. Is Alvin and the
Chipmunks The Road Chip part of the war on men?
There are a few violent moments in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip
where certain characters are hit with a variety of objects. Alcohol is
another part of Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip. Thankfully this
movie shows bad things can happen when you drink. Like what? Like a
massive tattoo on your back that you will need to live with or have
removed.
Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip contains some sexually suggestive
dance moves, a lack of attire, enticement to lust, and some bad
language. Thankfully these are short lived. In fact in my opinion none
of them were needed in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip. It does
not help the movie. All it does it bring it down. There are plenty of
funny moments in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip.
I love how in the end of Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip Alvin
realizes they only cared about their own happiness. They did not care
about what Dave wanted. The Chipmunks and Miles disobeyed their parents
way too many times in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip. Sadly the
punishment is very light in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip. Which
means they disobeyed again next time. Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road
Chip shows liberal parenting is a failure.
