Arlo The Burping Pig
SCORE: 70
Lionsgate has been really good to Family Friendly Gaming. Sending us
all kinds of different DVDs. Arlo The Burping Pig is the latest movie to
be sent our way. The Digital version is also included in the case on a
piece of paper. You can probably figure out that this movie revolves
around a pig. You might also discern that this movie has a pig that
burps. You would be right on both counts.
The storyline in Arlo The Burping Pig revolves around a priceless Ming
Dynasty vase being stolen. It is hidden in the yard of a house that is
for sale. The house is purchased and they are told the vase is a gift
from their real estate agent. The family consists of a mother, father,
and three daughters. Two of them are high school age, and the youngest
is in elementary school.
The dad (who happens to be a dentist) has to go back to their old town
to wrap things up with his old practice. The youngest daughter finds a
pig in their backyard. The neighbors dog also likes to come over to
their backyard. It is like an airport in their back yard with so many
strange visitors. Arlo The Burping Pig tries to be funny. It mainly came
across as corny.
Let me get something out of the way. Arlo The Burping Pigs is a 'B'
grade movie at best. It is generally very family friendly. I had too
many moments of: "that is not even close to being realistic." The little
girl hides the pig from her mom, and lies about it. There is one small
scene with lack of attire. The teenage daughter is actually angry that
her shirt shrunk in the mid section.
I did not recognize any of the actors or actresses in Arlo The Burping
Pig. That includes the pig. I suspect they are up and coming. It takes
eighty minutes to watch Arlo The Burping Pig on DVD or Digital. If you
like pigs, and think they are cute, then you will most likely get into
Arlo The Burping Pig. Arlo The Burping Pig is one of the strangest
animal movies I have ever seen. There are a couple of cool songs in this
movie.
