Boom Ball 2
SCORE: 74
Family Friendly Gaming was emailed a digital downloadable code for
Boom Ball 2 on the Xbox One. The best way to describe this home console
Kinect video game is Breakout for Kinect. Our hands are used for the
paddles in Boom Ball 2. We are facing a wall of blocks. The goal is get
rid of all of the blocks in the wall. There are explosive blocks in Boom
Ball 2. Hitting those will remove quite a few blocks at once. There are
also other power ups in Boom Ball 2.
Two family members can enjoy Boom Ball 2 at the same time. This
downloadable only Xbox One video game is currently selling for $9.99.
There are fifty levels in Boom Ball 2. Those fifty levels are found in
five locations. The five locations are Tropical Paradise, Snowy
Mountain, Crystal Caves, Cloud City and Space. In essence they are
different level themes and backgrounds.
Boom Ball 2 has some neat music in it. The graphics are okay. I liked
the 3D feeling in Boom Ball 2. I could see Boom Ball 2 working in VR. It
took me some time to get used to the paddles in Boom Ball 2. It is
really easy to hit the ball exactly forward and have it come right back
to you. I also ran into the edges of the screen glitch. If I went too
far to the right or left I warped over to the opposite side. Which was
not helpful when I tried to get the ball over in the other corner.
Boom Ball 2 used Kinect controls for everything. I like how Boom Ball 2
got me off the couch and had me move around. The concept and idea behind
Boom Ball 2 is really cool. I love games that get gamers off the couch.
Boom Ball 2 can be used to increase the health, welfare, and well-being
of millions of gamers. Families can have fun working together to get all
of the blocks in this paddler.
I never played the original Boom Ball, so it is cool to see and play the
sequel. I hope more games like this appear in the future. Maybe there
will be a third game and then a compilation disc can be released. That
would be pretty cool in my opinion. It was a pleasure for me to play and
review Boom Ball 2 on the Xbox One. The eyeballs on the blocks were kind
of strange.
