Digger Dan DX

Digger Dan DX

I do not understand the ESRB. Digger Dan DX on the Nintendo 3DS earns an Everyone ten and older rating while more violent games are earning an Everyone six and older rating. What is the bad content in Digger Dan DX? We can have rocks drop on our character. I supposed we might be able to blow ourselves up with TNT. Although I was not really fast enough to do that.

Digger Dan DX reminds me of games like Miko Mole, and Boulder Dash. There are one hundred caves in Digger Dan DX. At the moment this review was written Digger Dan DX is selling for $0.99. Which puts Digger Dan DX at app level prices. Families get a good deal of levels from this downloadable only hand held video game. There are no physical copies of Digger Dan DX that I am aware of.

The graphics in Digger Dan DX are small. Thankfully there is enough content on the screen so there are few surprises. Boulder Dash DX had the problem of the zoomed in graphics and surprises that killed the player. I appreciate Digger Dan DX providing families enough of the screen to avoid costly mistakes. Especially when those rocks will roll on your player with a quickness.

The music in Digger Dan DX is fantastic. I really got into it and the special effect sounds while playing this little hand held video game. Digger Dan DX is at the quality of games that appear in retail. I hope Digger Dan DX grows into a physical copy at some point. More games are moving from the digital download to the amazingly popular physical copy realm. Which is great to see.

There is a timer in Digger Dan DX that players can try to beat. Levels can still be beaten if the timer expires. I appreciate that feature since I am not the fastest player around. I also liked trying to find the secret bonus hidden gems. I learned to check areas first in Digger Dan DX. One mistake can block the path. I would then use the Start button to restart the level. Yes I would avoid making the same mistake twice.
