Family Friendly Gaming requested a copy of Finding Dory for review.
Disney was kind enough to provide us with the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD
version of Finding Dory. There are over two hours of bonus content in
Finding Dory. As one could expect Finding Dory is all about the short
term memory deprived Regal Tang fish that has some sharp spikes on its
spine. Not a cuddly fish in the wild.
Finding Dory has plenty of funny moments. The octopus Harry has many of
them in this movie that lasts ninety-seven minutes. There is peril in
Finding Dory. Certain sea creatures try to attack other creatures.
Finding Dory also shows an ocean with all kinds of trash and human
artifacts destroying the ocean. This misleading narrative can offend
some families. There is also a reference to false worship in Finding
Dory.
Do not expect as much realism in Finding Dory that there was in Finding
Nemo. An octopus swinging from pipe to pile and camouflaging himself all
around the Marine Biology Institute of California. The octopus driving a
truck and Dory giving him directions is when I realized Finding Dory was
not even trying for any semblance of reality. So I revisited the ocean
scenes and realized Finding Dory is a bit too preachy on the extreme
radical far left viewpoints in a pure fantasy world that has no
connection to ours.
There is more bonus content in Finding Dory than the length of the
movie. That is pretty cool. Many of the bonus features can be used as
advertisements for the movie. I expect the Disney Channel runs some of
them. The bonus content on the Finding Dory discs are Piper short film,
Marine Life Interviews, Animation & Acting, The Octopus that nearly
broke Pixar, Deleted Scenes, Deep in the Kelp, and more.
There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Finding Dory. Extreme
radical sexual deviant groups have claimed two women seen together for a
seconds are a pair that reject the proper relations between a man and a
woman. Disney and Pixar have been silent on the controversy. I
personally do not think Finding Dory is supporting active sinful
lifestyle choices that rebel against God. It is a shame in this day and
age there are so many loud voices trying to encourage everyone into
sinful lifestyle choices that rebel against God.
SPOILER ALERT PARAGRAPH! Finding Dory has plenty of neat moments. We
learn about Dory's past, and her parents. Dory has memories flood back
and she seeks her parents. Marlin and Nemo accompany her on this quest.
They get separated for a time, and eventually things work out. They meet
some new friends that come back to the Great Barrier Reef.
