Five Guardians of David
SCORE: 70
I am very thankful that Cheryl over at Christ Centered Gamer offered
Family Friendly Gaming a download code for Five Guardians of David on
Steam. She had an extra one and was kind enough to share with us. I
thought Five Guardians of David was broken at first. The lag, and game
play were not familiar to me. Let alone the concept of how to play. My
dad showed me how to play Five Guardians of David on the PC.
The best way to describe Five Guardians of David is a Christian Diablo
kind of a game. Five Guardians of David has been given the thirteen and
older only rating, and not the macabre and morbid rating that the Diablo
games have earned. Five Guardians of David follows the Holy Bible in a
great many things. Playing Five Guardians of David has helped me think
of new ideas for Christian video games.
There is blood, and violence in Five Guardians of David. We fight
animals and humans in Five Guardians of David. Their dead or knocked out
bodies will lay on the ground for a few seconds. I wish Five Guardians
of David was on the consoles. The intro at the beginning of the game can
not be skipped. This is really annoying. Characters can only go to a
spot you click if it is in a straight line. If there is an obstacle in
the way the character will stand there, and not walk around it.
The story telling and voice acting is fantastic in Five Guardians of
David. The graphics are decent. There can be numerous characters on the
screen at once. The lag can get crazy in those instances. I wish there
was a physical copy of Five Guardians of David, since Five Guardians of
David is long enough. I would love to see this game on the PS4 and Xbox
One.
The comic book story telling between levels is really cool. I also like
dying on a boss, and respawning with the bosses health the same as I
left it. Five Guardians of David is a solid Christian based video game
in a violent portion of the Holy Bible. Older members of the family can
play Five Guardians of David instead of more violent video games like
Diablo, Diablo II, and Diablo III.
