Kung Fu Panda 3
SCORE: 74
Family Friendly Gaming purchased the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD
version of Kung Fu Panda 3 on Black Friday 2016 for our march to
Christmas movie nights tradition. There are plenty of things in Kung Fu
Panda 3 we expected. There are also things in Kung Fu Panda 3 we did not
expect to see. Like what? We expected to see and hear a lot of humor in
Kung Fu Panda 3. We expected to see the panda village.
What are the things we did not expect to see? We were not expecting so
much religious indoctrination of the Eastern religious belief set in
Kung Fu Panda 3. It was shocking that controversial and divisive content
was so heavy in Kung Fu Panda 3. In fact the strange after life belief
theology is central to the story line in Kung Fu Panda 3. The same goes
for the soul sucking skill the main villain has.
Families can expect marital arts violence in Kung Fu Panda 3. There are
also plenty of Looney Tunes moments where someone gets hit by something.
One of the most interesting aspect to Kung Fu Panda 3 for me is Po
becoming a teacher. It is the natural progression after one has learned
all they can from their previous teacher. Do it for awhile and then
teach the next generation. I wish the education system in America
included more teachers who have actually done the work in the real world
before.
Po learns what it means to be a human in Kung Fu Panda 3. He also learns
how to teach the other pandas how to fight. They eventually unlock the
lost chi ability to save Po. That way he can defeat Kai. Kung Fu Panda 3
includes an array of bonus content. There is deleted scenes, commentary,
animated shorts, make a panda pal, karaoke, and more on these discs.
We had a lot of fun watching Kung Fu Panda 3. The humor is pretty good
in Kung Fu Panda 3. Everyone had the same comment concerning Kung Fu
Panda 3. We all liked the humor and the action. We did not like all of
the Eastern religious beliefs being shoved down our throats. This is
America after all, where a super majority of the citizens self identify
as Christian. Why can't Holly Weird be sensitive to that? Why are they
always attacking Christians? When will they celebrate our diversity?
