It is interesting to see Lego Dimensions products go on such deep
sales. That tells me something. It tells me the initial launch prices
are over-inflated. Take Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack for
example. The couple of levels included take one hour to complete. There
is a small area to play in after that if you want to. Ultimately it
feels like such a small amount of game for such a large price tag.
Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack comes with Ecto-1, Peter
Venkman, and the Ghost Trap. After you complete the levels in Lego
Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack then you can change to any of the
four ghostbuster characters. The game play levels in Lego Dimensions
Ghostbusters Level Pack are based off of the first movie only. When you
get to the small area after that, there is a river of slime, and a
messed up Statue of Liberty.
There are plenty of ghosts in Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack.
The graphics are darker and creepier in Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters
Level Pack than any of the other level packs. A variety of other
characters are needed to complete all of the things in Lego Dimensions
Ghostbusters Level Pack. A way Warner Bros Interactive is trying to
fleece consumers.
The Ghost Trap in Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack is one of the
most worthless objects ever. It will dispose of ghosts that are caught
in the beams, and open a few doors here and there. It is mainly
something to put on, and then take off again pretty quickly. I also got
really sick and tired of hearing the Ghostbusters theme song in Lego
Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack. To be fair there are a couple of
other songs.
In my opinion Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack is worth around
ten dollars. There is not enough content to warrant the existing price.
Wait for it to go on sale. Remember to be careful when building and
using the objects in Lego Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Pack. Why? They
fall apart really easily. It is a pain to maintain them for any extended
period of time.
