Lego Super Heroes Justice League Attack of the Legion of Doom
SCORE: 79
I am thankful we were financially blessed enough to be able to
purchase Lego Super Heroes Justice League Attack of the Legion of Doom
on DVD. This Lego movie takes seventy-seven minutes to watch. It is an
entertaining Lego super hero movie. I really enjoy how most of the
characters are polite and nice to one another. It is like getting back
to Justice League Unlimited. This review will contain spoilers.
The core of the storyline in Lego Super Heroes Justice League Attack of
the Legion of Doom revolves around the Martian Manhunter. The super
villains realize they must work together to compete with the Justice
League. Darkside guides Lex Luthor to free an imprisoned John Jones. Lex
turns him against the Justice League by claiming they were the ones who
had imprisoned him.
The bonus content in Lego Super Heroes Justice League Attack of the
Legion of Doom consists of Click, Zap, Boom! Creating the Sound Design,
and previews of other products. A bit light there, but I can not
complain since I purchased Lego Super Heroes Justice League Attack of
the Legion of Doom for under ten dollars. The New 52 jokes in Lego Super
Heroes Justice League Attack of the Legion of Doom are pretty good.
There is Lego violence as a variety of characters shoot one another with
a variety of different beams, and powers. Lego vehicles are broken apart
into their individual bricks as well. Superman makes an amazing
character in Lego Super Heroes Justice League Attack of the Legion of
Doom. So does the Flash. The Flash and Green Lantern are constantly
competing for one another for Wonder Woman's affection.
Cyborg plays an important role in Lego Super Heroes Justice League
Attack of the Legion of Doom. His mistakes, and eventual faith in
himself are what helps make this movie so interesting. I also liked
seeing the growth and progression of the Martian Manhunter. I do think
the Legion of Doom was short sided by only accepting a few of the other
Super Villains into their team. If they would have accepted all of them,
they would have done better in the long run.
