Loot Hero DX
SCORE: 64
A Steam key for Loot Hero DX was provided to Family Friendly Gaming.
I had so many different thoughts and emotions as I played Loot Hero DX.
This 2D side scrolling adventure with role playing game elements has
auto collision. Have you ever played the original Ys video game? That is
how Loot Hero DX is played. We run into the enemies holding our
drill/hammer weapon thing out. If you are more powerful you do more
damage. If you are weaker they do more damage. It is easy to die in Loot
Hero DX. Thankfully players can respawn quickly.
Grinding is required in Loot Hero DX. I noticed certain bosses were too
tough for me. So I would grind for money and experience. There are
numerous shops in the levels so it is easy to purchase upgrades with the
loot. Once I was strong enough I went after the boss. I then got to
enter the next level and the process started over again. It sounds like
Loot Hero DX would get boring really fast. It did not.
When I got into the sixty-first level I started to get tired of the
repetition in Loot Hero DX. This is an addicting video game. There is
something interesting about smashing the monsters and getting loot.
Especially when I upgraded my speed and was able to trash them at a
super pace. It also got bad if I was under powered. I would die with the
quickness if you know what I mean.
There is blood, violence, death, undead monsters, werewolves, and other
mythical creatures in Loot Hero DX. I enjoyed saving the first couple of
miners in Loot Hero DX. After awhile I got tired of that reward. In a
lot of ways Loot Hero DX feels like an app ported over to Steam. I am
thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a digital download code for
Loot Hero DX on the Personal Computer.
The four stats we level up in Loot Hero DX are attack, critical,
defense, and speed. So Loot Hero DX has some light role playing video
game elements. Everything but critical can be leveled up infinitely.
Critical is stopped at one hundred. Which meant one hundred percent of
the time I would make critical hits. The graphics in Loot Hero DX are
retro. The music is catchy. I did get tired of the music after sixty
levels. Grinding is fun for awhile.
