Lost Sea

It is cool that Family Friendly Gaming was provided a copy of Lost Sea on the Playstation 4 for a review. This action adventure game has hack and slash elements, as well as role playing elements. Our plane crashes in the islands and we have to fight out way through the islands. There are relics that need to be found and brought back to your ship. They will unlock areas of the map.

Players can pick from eight different characters. We also run across numerous NPC companions that have a wide array of skills. Some can unlock chests, build bridges, revive your character and more. I mainly got healing from treasure chests. I wish the healing items were more plentiful. If you die you will have to restart with the loss of some money, and experience. Unlocked areas are kept open thankfully.

The issues families will want to be aware of are violence, guns, lack of attire, enticement to lust, tribal concepts, and more. Players are trying to free themselves from the Bermuda Triangle in Lost Sea. I liked seeing the shark in the water when I was on the docks. That thing is huge. Like the size of the well known and legendary Submarine shark from Shark Week.

I like the music and graphics in Lost Sea. The music in Lost Sea is pleasant. The graphics are bright and colorful. I enjoyed upgrading skills in Lost Sea. Grinding in Lost Sea is done by dying and repeating previous islands. Players can not repeat islands without dying. There is only going forward in Lost Sea. Players can steal items from chests in Lost Sea.

It can take time to become strong enough to get through certain islands in Lost Sea. I found many of the enemies in Lost Sea have a pattern that can be learned and exploited. Patience is the real key to defeating some of the stronger enemies, and bosses in Lost Sea Plus the enemies are really powerful in Lost Sea. They can easily take your life bar down to nothing.
