Marvel’s Women of Power Pack
SCORE: 76
Marvel’s Women of Power Pack is the most recent Marvel Pinball
release from Zen Studios. This pack contains two tables. They are the
A-Force table, and the Champions table. I prefer the the A-Force table.
I was able to score more points easier, and it has a better design in my
pinball opinion. Or is that video game pinball opinion? Whichever suits
your fancy.
Marvel’s Women of Power Pack is all about the women. I did not know
Marvel Comics had decided to take certain well known male characters,
and make them female in the comics. Not sure why such a radical, and
fanatical action was taken. Marvel’s Women of Power Pack had at least
one of them in there. I researched it to find out that Marvel Comic had
gone off the deep end with the redefinitionist movement. Holly Weird
must be proud of them.
The A-Force table in Marvel’s Women of Power Pack has a gun that
launches the ball. Black Widow is a major part of that table. Both of
the tables in Marvel’s Women of Power Pack verbally tell gamers where to
put the ball. That is where it is needed to unlock better content, and
score more points. I learned that it was wise to listen to this advice
in Marvel’s Women of Power Pack. You know how women like to communicate
and like to have their way right?
I enjoyed the voices and sounds in the A-Force table. I am not a fan of
the voices and sounds in the Champions table of Marvel’s Women of Power
Pack. Like I said before I like the A-Force table way better in all
regards. The table layout and design is better. The flippers are better.
The flow and points are better in A-Force as well. Maybe you will
disagree with me and like Champions better.
The strange thing about Marvel’s Women of Power Pack is we are working
with second, third, and fourth tier characters. Black Widow is on the
high end. But Squirrel Girl and Spider-Gwen. Who comes up with
characters like that? I can't fault Marvel’s Women of Power Pack for
including them. It is not like there are many first tier female
characters in the Marvel universe. Male characters sell more.
