Maze Runner The Scorch Trials
SCORE: 48
Our first born son read some of the Maze Runner books. The first
movie was interesting and mysterious. The second movie - Maze Runner The
Scorch Trials blows open the lid on what is happening in the world. The
kids are being used to train some enzyme out of their bodies that can
stop people from turning into zombie like creatures. Which makes them
very valuable.
There are plenty of action and running scenes in Maze Runner The Scorch
Trials. Plenty of violence, blood, gore, death. There is a suicide in
Maze Runner The Scorch Trials. We also get a lot of bad language,
offensive images, lies, and deceit. Motives do not always make a lot of
sense in Maze Runner The Scorch Trials. There is some drug substance use
in Maze Runner The Scorch Trials.
If all of that was not bad enough Maze Runner The Scorch Trials
encourages suicide. It also encourages people to seek revenge. There is
no turning of the other cheek in Maze Runner The Scorch Trials. The
movie ends on a interesting cliff hanger. Obviously it is there to
encourage viewers to watch the next movie once it comes out. Although to
be fair the first movie ended on a cliffhanger.
Maze Runner The Scorch Trials is much worse in terms of content than the
first movie. There are so many scary moments in Maze Runner The Scorch
Trials that I almost think this is a horror movie. It is very close to
being a horror movie with all of its freaky part. The zombie like
characters reinforce that. I am still not clear on what caused this
science fiction world to get so bad.
Maze Runner The Scorch Trials teaches us distrust authority, and
authority figures. The kids are pretty much prisoners after escaping the
maze. They venture out on their own and find other groups. Some will
help them, and some will betray them. They are also betrayed from within
their own midst. Maze Runner The Scorch Trials is only for the adult
members of the family in my opinion. If you want to subject yourself to
this much wickedness.
