NCAA 06 March Madness
SCORE: 71
I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of NCAA 06
March Madness on the Playstation 2. This college basketball game also
appears on the Xbox. Families can enjoy the nice intro, and then decide
if they want to play now, pick a game mode, go into March Madness Retro,
learn about the Lockdown stick, check out Features, or go into EA Sports
Extras.
The modes in NCAA 06 March Madness are Online, Dynasty, Season,
Tournament, College Classics, Rivalry Game, Mascot Game and Practice.
There are three tournaments in NCAA 06 March Madness. They are NCAA
Tournament, Maui Invitational Tournament, and Frat Party Tournament.
Players can pick teams, and change teams in the tournaments. Which is
pretty neat.
The issues families need to be notified in regards to NCAA 06 March
Madness are cheerleaders, lack of attire, enticement to lust, offensive
music, offensive lyrics, and more. The players look decent for the era.
The fans look really bad. In fact certain camera angles show the fans in
NCAA 06 March Madness are paper thin in terms of depth. There is a lot
of repeated graphics and audio in NCAA 06 March Madness.
NCAA 06 March Madness has some cheap computer tactics and questionable
penalties. Even on the easiest setting NCAA 06 March Madness can be
difficult. Take the Final Four Tournament for example. If the team you
are playing is ranked higher than you, then you will have a really hard
time beating them. Games can be quit and restarted in a tournament as
long as you do not let the game finish.
The key to NCAA 06 March Madness is the lockdown stick. The computer
uses it constantly. I had to train myself to use it just to compete. I
also had real problems making three point shots in NCAA 06 March Madness
The computer could eat away at my hard fought lead with those. Even with
guys right in their faces. I could not make them wide open.
NCAA 06 March Madness frustrated me. The announcers were cool the first
four games. After that their limited vocabulary became tiresome. NCAA 06
March Madness has plenty of options, and modes available to players. The
offensive music can be silenced. I like the retro game that is included
in NCAA 06 March Madness. That is pretty neat to see. I wish more modern
day games did that.
