Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
SCORE: 44
I was so excited when my dad told me he had been given some reward
points, and used them to order Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare on the
Playstation 4. I thought about playing against my dad locally, and
totally offline. I thought about playing with my brother again locally
and totally offline. I installed Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, and
tried to play it. The game failed.
What was wrong with Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare? How could others
have all these wonderful things to say about? Were they bought off by
EA? Then I noticed a small box on the front of the case above the
Everyone TEN and OLDER ONLY ESRB rating. It says: "Online Play and
Playstation Plus Required." So after answering tons of Swag Bucks
surveys I earned enough points to receive a Playstation Plus membership
for three months.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is a huge drain on Internet resources.
To make matters worse Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is completely
pointless. Run around kill people on the other team, die, and repeat.
Players willing to purchase better gear can buy victory in Plants vs
Zombies Garden Warfare. The zombies are also overpowered. So if you wind
up on that team, you have a better chance of winning, unless you are
with a lot of plants that have bought victory.
The graphics look nice in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. The violence
is on full display in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. Death means
nothing since you re-spawn pretty quickly. There is split screen, but
what is the point without local only offline game play? Two family
members can drain their Internet resources faster than one? I am very
disappointed with Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.
In my opinion Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is taking the video game
industry in the wrong direction. Playstation Plus should not be required
to play a game. There should be an offline only mode. Plants vs Zombies
Garden Warfare has been around long enough for this to happen. Yet
neither Electronic Arts or Popcap have gotten off their behinds and made
it happen. Shame on both of them.
