I love that Family Friendly Gaming was provided a copy of Quackerz.
We received the 3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy. This movie is
about Madarin Ducks who are visited by some Mallards. As you can expect
Quackerz is deeper than that. An evil being is coming to take away the
sun, and only one special duck can stop this evil being.
Quackerz has some mild violence, enticement to lust, and peril. SPOILERS
ALERT! The evil witch uses a machine to sap the power of the sun and
give her eternal youth. She is old and ugly, but wears a mask to look
young. That mask does fall off at one point in the movie. She looks
freakishly manly in her face. It was really gross.
There is a Chinese flavor to Quackerz since the movie takes place in
that country. The animation in Quackerz is pretty neat. I liked seeing
the ducks in this movie. It took me eighty-one minutes to watch
Quackerz. There are some Storyboards, Animatics, and Behind the Scenes
bonus features on the Quackerz discs.
I had fun watching Quackerz. There are two thieves in this movie that
are used for comic relief. The police officer in Quackerz is generally
incompetent. His dog is a cool character, especially with the police
lights. Leaders are shown in a bad light in Quackerz. Which is a real
shame in my opnion. I wish more movies would put leaders in there we can
look up to.
I hope they make sequels to Quackerz in the future. I would love to see
how Longway and Erica do in their flight to Hawaii. It would be cool to
see those two on some adventures. Maybe they could even get married and
have some ducklings of their own. If the writers need some ideas they
can ask us here at Family Friendly Gaming.
