Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a 5.6 gig download of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII on the Playstation 4. This strategic home console video game is cerebral. There are multiple paths to victory. I love fast forwarding time while I am negotiating with another territory in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII. It can take time to build trust with other rulers and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII reflects that.

The issues families will want to be notified of in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII are violence, blood, gore, alcohol, false gods, enticement to lust, confusing controls, no English voice acting, and more. The debates and duels are where most of the violence is. The battles are hard to see since the screen is zoomed out so far. What is crazy is we can zoom out farther and see the entire map. Which is huge by the way.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII has a story mode and free play. There are no multiplayer options in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII. The music is cool in this strategic video game. The language in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII can be changes from Japanese to Chinese. Since I comprehend neither of them it did me no good. The story screens with characters looks nice.

The controls in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII were a bit confusing to me at first. I adapted to them though. I enjoyed capturing leaders of other factions, declaring war, and fighting bandits. The main ruler in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII has to approve our actions. My character earned promotions by increasing my merit. The merit went up thanks to completing missions.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII talks about challenging heaven with alliances. A very odd phrase that sounded like rebellion against God to me. Hero mode tells the back stories of the characters. It bored me to tears personally. I preferred the main mode in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII which is more like a sand box mode. It may take me months to conquer the entire map if I am intelligent enough to do so.
