Scrap Garden

I am happy Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Scrap Garden on Steam. This PC video game is not provided in the physical copy format. It was a 1.7 gig download, and then it only installed 878.6 megs. Was it compressed? Where did the rest of the download go? I really hope our virus software does not start screaming about it in a few days.

Scrap Garden comes in eight different languages, and it has controller support. The Wall-E like story in Scrap Garden is nice. I liked watching the cut scenes in Scrap Garden. It helped me understand what was going on. I liked finding my battery for my robot. That way I could go into shadows. There are some dark and creepy areas in Scrap Garden. I liked finding a light switch to see better.

There is action adventure violence in Scrap Garden. A variety of different creatures will get in our way. Jumping on them is the way I liked to dispose of them. Scrap Garden is an easy game that kids can play. I did die a few times here and there in Scrap Garden. The double jump is really handy in Scrap Garden. I could get to higher places in the game thanks to that. The traps in Scrap Garden are annoying. Who drops a bed on the head of a robot in a building?

There are retro mini games in Scrap Garden that make a nice diversion. I enjoyed some of them more than the main game at times. The little robot in Scrap Garden can take damage from long falls. I learned to use elevators and the proper way down while playing Scrap Garden. Those are good lessons for kids to learn. It is deadly to fall too far in the real world too.

Scrap Garden kept me mentally engaged while I played it. Adults might get a bit bored with Scrap Garden. This is a game for kids, and we have to keep that in mind. I like the music and the graphics since they look nice. The 3D world in Scrap Garden reminds me of some other games I have played in the past. Scrap Garden has a bit of the environmentalist concepts in it. Although I am not sure what the dragon is supposed to be. Maybe it represents modern day liberals.
