Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island
SCORE: 74
Ran across Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island at Walmart on
clearance for just under twenty-five dollars. We had not heard of it
before which means yet another PR and Marketing failure for Activision.
Purchased it because we wanted to review it, and do a video capture of
it. Hopefully your family enjoys the game play walkthrough we did of
Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island. We played it on the Wii.
Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island comes with the Sheep Wreck
Island level pack, Wind-Up, Platinum Sheep, and Groove Machine. The
magical items are pretty much worthless in my personal opinion. Wind-Up
is a slow and small character. That combination does not work well. I
had to keep hitting the 'C' button on the Wii Nunchuck to get him to
move at a semi normal speed.
Thankfully Wind-Up is powerful and levels up really fast. The level in
Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island takes around thirty minutes to
beat and is completely sheep based. There is a sheep mage who believes
sheep have been abused by Skylanders. Thing is, he is actually right.
Skylanders has abused sheep for a great many years. Skylanders Swap
Force Sheep Wreck Island reinforces that. I felt bad for the sheep.
The cool thing about Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island is
families can play together. Well at least two family members can
cooperate to defeat the monsters and solve the puzzles. The teleporting
tornadoes in Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island are really cool.
The end boss of the Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island level is
simplistic to defeat.
In my opinion Skylanders Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island is overpriced. It
should cost no more than twenty dollars. There is not enough content to
warrant the original release price of thirty-five dollars. Wind Up is
not even a Swap Force character. He is a normal Skylander that does not
separate in two. He is an oddball tech type that fits right into
Skylands.
