Smart Adventures - Mission Math

It is really neat that Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy of Smart Adventures - Mission Math on the Wii U. I also appreciate Engine Software porting Smart Adventures - Mission Math over from the iOS and Android platforms. This game can teach kids math skills. Just make sure you pick the right age. There are things in Smart Adventures - Mission Math that I would put at the fifth to eighth grade levels.

What kind of things can you find in Smart Adventures - Mission Math? Math in Mandarin, fractions, decimals, angles, and more. A basic reading ability is needed to play Smart Adventures - Mission Math successfully. I also noticed some strange bugs in Smart Adventures - Mission Math. The game told me to pick the matching decimal with the fraction. So I picked 1/3 and 0.33 repeating. The game denied it. I then picked 3/6 and 0.5, and again it rejected it. I eventually found one match it allowed.

I don't know if the directions were not clear on what kind of match it was looking for, or if it was rejecting acceptable answers. I know my kids got frustrated when Smart Adventures - Mission Math rejected their correct answers. Smart Adventures - Mission Math is selling for $2.99 which is a good price for an educational app on the Wii U. Families will get their money's worth out of this game.

Smart Adventures - Mission Math comes in the digital downloadable format only. There are no physical copies of this game. The story line is interesting. I loved how we take this girl up to a space station to save the day. She uses math to fix the various problems on the space station. I felt like I was helping a good cause. Yes I know Smart Adventures - Mission Math is not real.

I hope to see more games like Smart Adventures - Mission Math in the future. I could even see this as a series with different kinds of math for different age groups. Maybe even a Smart Adventures - Mission Math for Algebra, and Geometry. That would be pretty neat. It may have a smaller audience of interest though. Schools could use Smart Adventures - Mission Math to help students learn the mathematics included. Then a compilation disc could be created.
