I heard about Soda Drinker Pro on the Personal Computer some years
back. Guess what? It did so well it is now out on the Xbox One. The goal
of Soda Drinker Pro is to drink your soda in each level. You can get
extra soda's if you want. They won't refill your bar though. The most
shocking thing to me about Soda Drinker Pro is it is over five gigs in
size. Why is it that large? Why does it need that much space.
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for
Soda Drinker Pro on the Xbox One. This home console video game is only
downloadable. There are no physical copies of Soda Drinker Pro for
families that only purchase physical copies of video games. Maybe a
physical copy of Soda Drinker Pro will arrive at some future date to
provide for the super majority of physical copy gamers. This game is
generally very family friendly.
In case you were wondering, Vivian Clark is included in the Xbox One
version of Soda Drinker Pro. What is Vivian Clark you ask? It is like a
separate mini game where players control different characters and do
different things. Like race a whale through spikes for example. How do
you get to this mini game? Go through the house door on level two. It
looks like a wall.
Soda Drinker Pro stretches the definition of what a video game is. You
can walk around and collect bonus sodas. You can quickly drink the
soda's to get through levels. There is some quirky humor in Soda Drinker
Pro. Things like drinking a soda on someone's behind. It does not take
too long to get through the one hundred levels in Soda Drinker Pro. The
true test is making it through all of the levels.
Graphically Soda Drinker Pro does not look that great. The sounds are
also lacking, repetitive, and annoying. Soda Drinker Pro gave me a
headache from playing it. Others here at Family Friendly Gaming also
experienced headaches from playing Soda Drinker Pro on the Xbox One. The
controls are simple. Left trigger to bring the soda to your mouth, and
right trigger to drink the soda.
Soda Drinker Pro is an odd, quirky video game that some people are going
to get into. Others are going to rage against it. My attitude is welp I
have now played Soda Drinker Pro. This may be one of the strangest video
games I have played in my life. I wish there was a physical copy of Soda
Drinker Pro to put next to E.T., Superman 64, and a few other games that
are wonderful conversational pieces.
