Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize!
SCORE: 68
Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall
Surprize! for under ten dollars on the Nintendo DS. What were the PR &
Marketing people for Activision doing when Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall
Surprize! was released? Who knows, they have been a flaky bunch for
years now. Probably will be for some years to come. I wanted something
light, fun, and fresh to play. I also know the original Squinkies did
well so I hoped the sequel would be as well.
Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize! is a sham. Parents should steer
clear of this hand held video game. Kids do not enjoy Squinkies 2
Adventure Mall Surprize!. There are only four areas in Squinkies 2
Adventure Mall Surprize!. They are the Aquarium, Food Court, Wedding
Castle and Amusement Park. Each area has four levels. All sixteen levels
are the same thing. Go around and collect the various Squinkies.
If you collect five coins in any of the sixteen levels in Squinkies 2
Adventure Mall Surprize! then you can access a bonus level. Which
consists of being launched around the level (up to three levels) and
collecting items. We also earn new Squinkies by putting a coin in a
machine, and turning the handle. The only reason to replay Squinkies 2
Adventure Mall Surprize! is to get the 600 Squinkies.
The graphics in Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize! are small, but
clean for families. The controls in Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize!
are a bit loose, especially the jumping. The lag in Squinkies 2
Adventure Mall Surprize! was shocking. The package Family Friendly
Gaming purchased of Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize! did not contain
a real world Squinkie. Which is fine with me since it would just get
lost.
Activision obviously tried to quickly cash in on the success of the
first game. Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize! is not like the first
game, and much worse. If you want a Squinkies video game then please
look into the first one. Squinkies 2 Adventure Mall Surprize! is a game
I never want to see again. Plus can't they come up with shorter names?
What is with video games needing to be an entire sentence for the game
name?
