Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure
SCORE: 68
I look at Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure as being Minecraft
Dodgeball. Let me explain why. Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure has
blocky looking characters who play dodgeball. There is always a reason
to play dodgeball in Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure. Maybe a whale is
attacking an oil refinery, or hippies want to run you over in their van,
or bikers are mad at you on the beach.
There is a story mode, and then of course regular dodgeball arenas in
Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure. The way to unlock the characters is by
going through the story mode. Families can have two members play the
story mode together. Which is really cool. Or you can play Stikbold! A
Dodgeball Adventure by yourself and have a computer character assist
you. One thing to note is you can not swap those saves once they are
started. Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure allows for three different
saves.
The controls in Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure are pretty simple to
understand. Get the dodgeball, charge it, and throw it at one of the
characters on the opposing team. We were always outnumbered in the story
mode of this downloadable only home console video game. There is a dive
button that will allow you to avoid getting hit. Players can also bump
into other characters to knock the ball out of their hands.
Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure borrows heavily from a lot of other
franchises. Playing through the story mode is how I found them. If you
do not have the ball there are usually objects on the ground you can use
to your favor. Other items can be picked up and thrown at the enemy
character to stun them. The way you dispose of a character is to stun
them, and then hit them with the ball. Note the first hit with the ball
does stun them.
The issues families need to be aware of in Stikbold! A Dodgeball
Adventure is violence, lack of attire, language, political statements,
and more. The two main characters are interesting, and their quest to
save this girl is also fascinating. Sort of a save the princess concept
with a little difference. Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is a short
game in story mode. The replay comes from playing others locally.
