Super Hero Math

I love learning video games. Super Hero Math fits into that category masterfully well. Family Friendly Gaming was given a code for Super Hero Math on the Wii U. We also gave away extra codes on Twitter and Facebook. I know there are some families that will be enjoying Super Hero Math in the future. Super Hero Math is a small download so it will not tax Internet usage plans for families.

We have a flying super hero in Super Hero Math that flies around the screen infinitely. That is until he runs into something or shoots something. Then there is a little bit of lag in Super Hero Math. After that a math question comes up. Kids are given as much time as they need to answer the math questions. There are multiple choice answers on the screen. Most of the time it was easy to pick the right answer.

The controls in Super Hero Math are a bit on the clunky side. The D-pad on the Wii U Gamepad is how we control our super hero in Super Hero Math. He moves very slowly. So do the shots we shoot out of our super hero. I am not sure what he was shooting. It looked like energy beams to me. We shoot asteroids, missiles, UFO's and other objects in Super Hero Math. So there is a little cartoon violence in Super Hero Math.

Super Hero Math excels in the musical department. I felt uplifted listening to the music in Super Hero Math. Our youngest son has some issues with math so it was great for him to play Super Hero Math. He got some extra math practice while playing a video game. Which is one of the biggest selling points of Super Hero Math in my book. Like I said I love learning games.

What happens to your super hero when he gets a problem wrong? He freezes for a short time. Kids can write down the questions and do them on paper if they choose. Which brings up a potential cheat. Some kids could go get a calculator and figure out the answer if they wanted to. I am not condoning that, just bringing it up since there is no timer in Super Hero Math.
