I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming picked up Superman / Batman
Apocalypse on DVD. This DC Comics movie takes around seventy-six minutes
to watch. The main character in Superman / Batman Apocalypse that comic
fanboys will be interested in is Supergirl. A bit of a spoiler coming -
she does not actually become Supergirl until the end of the movie.
The bad content in Superman / Batman Apocalypse is blood, gore,
violence, enticement to lust, bad language, and more. Superman is shown
as really weak in Superman / Batman Apocalypse. The storyline in
Superman / Batman Apocalypse contains way too many convenient elements.
Like Apocalypse knowing when and where to find Kara. Plus he quickly
converts her to the evil side.
A lot of Superman / Batman Apocalypse is different groups and factions
fighting over having Kara in their camp. Batman is one of the few
characters in Superman / Batman Apocalypse who does not want to enlist
her in his group. In fact Batman constantly tries to push Kara away. He
does not trust her. On other side of the coin Superman is very trusting.
Wonder Woman and her sexist women only Amazons are also featured in
Superman / Batman Apocalypse. They fight against an army of Doomsday
characters. Superman and Batman also fight against the army of Doomsday
characters. How that army is defeated is another convenient moment in
Superman / Batman Apocalypse. I also wonder why Superman did not start
with that move. It would have saved a lot of lives.
There are very few extras in Superman / Batman Apocalypse. The amount of
blood, sexual content, and bad language make it a movie that is one I
will not rewatch any time soon. There are very few extras in Superman /
Batman Apocalypse. What is there is mainly on older DC Comics movies. I
have already seen all of them so in my mind there really is no extra
content worth a mention.
