Tetraminos
SCORE: 90
There are so many problems and issues in the video game industry in
this day and age. At times I wonder why even do anything to make the
greedy suits who regurgitate the same games out for high dollar to
maximize profits for themselves even more money. What makes matters is
worse is few of the company executives ever want to share with those of
us who have worked hard to make them insanely wealthy. Radical
liberalism is being shoved down peoples throats, and political
correctness is reaching Nazi levels in the video game industry. Why not
just call out the evil and be done with it?
My answer to that question is sometimes an interesting, exciting, and
fun game comes along. Every so often we get a game that we can enjoy and
be proud of. Tetraminos on the Wii U is one such video game. There are
fifty challenging puzzles in Tetraminos. There is also an endless mode.
Families can play one another locally. Up to four family members can
play Tetraminos at the same time.
The colors in Tetraminos are bright and colorful. Players earn bonuses
by matching so many of the same colors. I love seeing a cool bonus like
that. I also really like the blocks in Tetraminos. The variety and
diversity within the block set is fantastic. There are classic Tetris
objects. To me Tetraminos is like a true sequel to the original Tetris.
Plus Tetraminos is a lot of fun to play.
The music in Tetraminos is awesome. I loved listening to it while
playing this digital download title. In fact that is the one thing
holding Tetraminos back. If this game were presented in the much sought
after physical copy format it would score even higher. I am thankful
Family Friendly Gaming was provided a digital download of Tetraminos.
The industry would be so much better if this game was released in the
physical copy format.
Everyone here at Family Friendly Gaming that played Tetraminos, enjoyed
it tremendously. The flow in Tetraminos is fantastic. The puzzle action
made me fall in love with Tetris all over again. With so much evil,
vile, and wickedness in the video game industry it is great to see a
game like Tetraminos. Why? Because Tetraminos gives me hope there will
be more good games for families in the future.
