The Flash Season One
SCORE: 65
As many of our long time readers know we love finding really good
deals on Black Friday. One of them we found was The Flash Season One on
DVD for ten dollars. I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming had the
money to purchase this five disc case that takes 979 minutes to watch. A
variety of characters from Arrow Season Three make appearances in The
Flash Season One.
I might as well get the bad content out of the way. The bad content in
The Flash Season One is violence, death, blood, bad language, sexual
deviancy, attacks on Biblical marriage, teachings in the religious
belief of evolution, lies, deceit, and more. The Flash Season One is
much brighter and more cheery than The Arrow show is. Which is nice to
see. There are so many things they could have done without in The Flash
Season One like attacking Biblical marriage. It just hurts the show.
The premise of The Flash Season One is Barry Allen sees his mother
murdered by a yellow speedster, and his dad gets convicted of the
murder. An accident happens and Barry Allen gets his incredible speed.
He works with Dr Harrison Wells, Cisco Ramon, and Caitlin Snow. They
help him learn about his meta-human powers, and to improve upon them as
the season progresses.
A variety of allies and villains appear in The Flash Season One. Captain
Cold is one of the most entertaining characters in The Flash Season One.
Barry is in love with Iris who is in love with Eddie Thawne. Or so she
thinks. She actually has feelings for Barry. Totally uncomfortable in
all of this is Joe West. Iris is his daughter and he raised Barry about
this father went to jail. I know it gets confusing at times.
The Reverse Flash is hiding right in plain sight in The Flash Season
One. We find out who he is, and what his agenda is. As well as the AI
Gideon from the future. Plenty of time travel concepts are discussed in
The Flash Season One. There are plenty of entertaining moments in The
Flash Season One. As well as learning about the different characters and
what their powers are. Firestorm is one of the most interesting.
The Season Finale cliffhanger is pretty good in The Flash Season One. I
had thought they might wrap things up nicely, but I was wrong. Not only
is Central City in danger, but so is the entire world. Can't raise the
stakes much higher than that. I find it interesting that all of the
powers are traced back to the accident in the first episode of The Flash
Season One. The Flash Season One performed a race change on certain
characters like the Fantastic Four movie did in 2015.
