The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2
SCORE: 48
For me there is something special about finishing off a series. I get
excited to be done with a certain franchise. I was really eager to see
and review The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 on DVD. I am thankful
Family Friendly Gaming had enough money to purchase this movie. Part of
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 feels like a war movie, and part of
it feels like a horror movie.
Since this movie comes from Holly Weird there will be differences from
the books. Some of the changes I liked better than what was in the book,
and others I despised. Cool and fun characters are killed off needlessly
in my opinion. The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 does try to show the
dark side of war. I also noted plenty of horror film like parts in The
Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2. It was predictable who would die off in
the tunnels.
As the movie progresses we see that President Snow is not the only
monster in The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2. President Coin is also a
monster. Which makes the ending of The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2
make perfect sense. I am trying to dance around some issues in The
Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 without spoiling it for anyone who has
not seen this movie.
The issues families will have with The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 is
violence, blood, death, evil, hatred, anger, disobedience, lying,
deceit, explosions, gore, bad language, and more. In some ways The
Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 felt like what Germany must have looked
like near the end of World War II for them. The forces were closing in
and they were punishing them for every block.
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 is a great example of why small
government is better than large government. Larger governments oppress
the people. The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 also teaches the cost of
freedom is expensive. Overthrowing dictators is costly. It is so much
better for our children though. Don't you want better for your children?
Then we should all work toward more individual freedom and less
government interference in our lives.
