The Jackbox Party Pack 3
SCORE: 62
Family Friendly Gaming recently received a digital download code for
The Jackbox Party Pack 3 on the Xbox One. This party game comes with
Quiplash 2, Trivia Murder Party, Guesspionage, Tee K.O., and Fakin’ It.
There is a family mode for these games in the settings. That way some of
the more offensive content is left out. There could still be content
your family is bothered by.
Quiplash 2 is for three to eight players. Players will write funny
answers (hopefully) to finish sentences. The other players will vote for
which ones they liked better. Trivia Murder Party is for one to eight
players. A deadly quiz show where you match wits with a trivia-obsessed
killer. Trivia Murder Party can get pretty dark. Players have to cut off
their fingers and can be turned into ghosts.
Guesspionage is for two to eight players. There are questions where one
player has to guess the right percentage of people on the planet that
agree or disagree with something. The other players guess if the right
answer is above or below that guess. Tee K.O. is for three to eight
players. Players make designs and phrases on their T-shirts. Then
everyone votes on which shirt is better in head to head competition.
Fakin’ It is for three to six players. In this game one player is not
given the question. They have to fake it. They pretend they got the
question and react accordingly. All players vote on who the faker really
is. So plenty of conversation and deception can be used to avoid getting
caught. Fakers that can make it through the rounds get more points.
Catch a faker for points.
Controllers are not used in The Jackbox Party Pack 3. Instead phones,
tablets and computers are. I was not big on that idea when I started to
play The Jackbox Party Pack 3. The more I played it the more fun I
realized it could be. There are plenty of funny comments and fun moments
in The Jackbox Party Pack 3. I am not big on Trivia Murder Party with
the blood, ghosts, and dark nature of the game.
The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a game that can be used on family night to
get people together and have some fun. We enjoyed our time with The
Jackbox Party Pack 3. It is a rather large download, and players have to
connect to a website to play. Make sure your Internet usage plan will
allow it. That is the only drawback to how The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is
played.
