The Land Before Time Journey of the Brave
SCORE: 81
I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a DVD of The
Land Before Time Journey of the Brave for this review. This is the
fourteenth movie in The Land Before Time series. It is also exclusive to
Walmart only. No getting it from Amazon, Target, or any other place you
may normally shop. At least at the time this review is being written. It
is unknown if it will remain exclusive in the future.
It takes one hour and twenty-two minutes to watch The Land Before Time
Journey of the Brave. That means 82 minutes. Which may seem short, but
trust me this movie is longer than it seems. Reba McEntire and Damon
Wayans Jr. headline The Land Before Time Journey of the Brave. There are
four songs in The Land Before Time Journey of the Brave that are in the
bonus features. Well sing-along versions of them. Those four songs are
in the movie.
The storyline in The Land Before Time Journey of the Brave revolves
around Little Foot, and his father. His father Bron is the leader of a
migrating herd. When the herd arrives for their once a year stop without
Bron thanks to the volcano erupting, Little Foot and his friends go on a
quest to save him. Little Foot finds bravery and leadership on the
journey to save his dad.
I love the different solutions they find in The Land Before Time Journey
of the Brave. I am not so big on the attempts to put feathers on
dinosaurs. That hoax is in a long line of hoaxes that Old Earth
believers have tried for hundreds of years. It is sad to see such
radical beliefs put into children's entertainment. But then Holly Weird
has long embraced lies over truth.
The best part of The Land Before Time Journey of the Brave to me is the
singing. The dinosaurs finding Bron safe, and saving him was
predictable. The same goes for surviving all of the perils they survive.
As well as the sharp tooth dinosaurs never getting a meal. Not very
ferocious hunters if you ask me. Predators have to eat too if you get my
drift. The biggest question I have after watching The Land Before Time
Journey of the Brave is - when will Little Foot get bigger?
