The Peanuts Movie

I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming had enough money to purchase a copy of The Peanuts Movie on DVD when it went on sale locally. This is a wonderful movie for families. First off it is rated 'G'. It is such a treasure to find a 'G' rated movie that the entire family can enjoy. We laughed our heads off watching on The Peanuts Movie on DVD. Snoopy is hilarious.

I feel bad for the PR and Marketing for 20th Century Fox. They could have reached Family Friendly Gaming Universe awhile ago if they had professionally communicated with us. Well no hard feelings on our side. It is a loss of revenue for them. They only hurt themselves. We get around to products as we have the time and money. I am pleased we got around to The Peanuts Movie.

I did not expect much from The Peanuts Movie personally. I had seen Peanuts cartoons before. They are okay. The Peanuts Movie really fleshes things out visually, and musically. All of the expected tones are found in The Peanuts Movie. There are even some things I did not expect. Like what? SPOILER ALERT! Charlie Brown becomes a genius celebrity when he scores 100 on a test. One problem though - his test got mixed up with Peppermint Patty's.

Snoopy and the Red Baron go at it in the air through Snoopy's imagination. In fact there is a scene in The Peanuts Movie where Snoopy is coming back across from enemy lines where it flashes back from real world to his imagination world. It is hilarious. There is some mild peril in The Peanuts Movie as these planes shoot one another down. SPOILER ALERT! Snoopy does save Fifi in the end.

One of the biggest lessons in The Peanuts Movie is how we see ourselves versus how others see us. This is really important in the ending of The Peanuts Movie. How the red haired girl sees Charlie Brown is different than how he sees himself. Lucy is still extremely obnoxious in The Peanuts Movie. The cool extras on the The Peanuts Movie DVD are 6 Snoopy Snippets, Learn to Draw, Music Videos, and Snoopy's Playlist.

I hope they do more movies based off of this franchise in the future. The Peanuts Movie earns the rarely given Family Friendly Gaming Seal of Approval. It is great to see a movie like this one make it to the marketplace. It was a pleasure for me to play and review The Peanuts Movie on DVD. It also came with the Digital HD version which I doubt we will ever mess with.
