Tour De France 2016

I am very happy that Family Friendly Gaming received a reviewable copy of Tour De France 2016 on the Playstation 4. We received a digital download code. There was one three gig download, and one twenty gig application download. Families on economy Internet plans will not be able to download Tour De France 2016. I hope a physical copy of this game makes it to America. I see the UK was provided one.

There are a variety of different modes in Tour De France 2016. They are Tour (single mode, cooperation mode, versus), Pro Team (single mode, cooperation mode), Challenges (single mode, versus), My Tour (single mode, cooperation mode, versus), Training (basic controls, energy management, advanced controls, using team comm), and Editor (lets us edit content within the game).

I like the graphics and the words of wisdom from the coach in Tour De France 2016. I also learned that it is important to go through the tutorial. Tour De France 2016 is a deep involved game that is tough for casual gamers to get into. I also noticed it can be boring going that many kilometers. I understand it is all part of the race. Just like attacking, sprinting, and keeping tempo. At times I found it was better to let the computer take control.

The controls in Tour De France 2016 are very touchy. We have multiple bars per racer. They need to drink water, and eat energy to get their bars back. The faster you make your cyclist go the quicker that energy is used up. Blowing up is a very bad thing to do in a race in Tour De France 2016. You can push the athlete for a bit but if you go past that wall you have really messed things up.

Tour De France 2016 requires the trigger be pressed about half way to have the right speed to avoid burning out. I wish there was a better way of doing this. Like pressing buttons would increase and decrease the speed level of the racer. For my hands I was either all on or all off. Trying to hold if half way for a long period of time hurt my hand. I guess I got some kind of a work out from Tour De France 2016. Players can follower other racers by holding down the square button.

I like Tour De France 2016. It can be difficult to take control of so many different players at the same time. Thankfully Tour De France 2016 lets us assign different tasks to the different players. They can try and get ahead, protect other players, stay in the pack and more. Fans of Tour De France will really appreciate Tour De France 2016. I loved seeing the diverse landscapes, and people on the side of the road cheering.
