Where's My What

Family Friendly Gaming was given digital download codes to Where's My What on Steam. We used one of the codes and gave the other two away. Where's My What is a fun little hidden object game on the PC. There are one hundred levels for families to work their way through. The screen scrolls to the right, and back again to find the items in Where's My What.

What we are looking for in any of the levels starts easy and gets harder as time goes on. Click on the wrong item and you lose five seconds. Yes Where's My What is timed. Players only have so much time to find all of the items. Around the last ten seconds an annoying sound lets you know to hurry up. Finding an item adds time back to the timer. It will never go past the max though.

Where's My What is very random in what we are looking for and where it is on the screen. At times I found everything really fast. Other times I struggled with finding much of anything. Part of that comes from figuring out what matches the clue. Take paper item for example. Books and kites match it. Pencils, and protractors do not. I use pencils and protractors with paper. I did not know kites were made out of paper.

Other times in Where's My What I could not find certain things. Like a strawberry for example. I was keying off of red items visually so maybe there was a shadow. Or it was on the top of a cake or cupcake. Where's My What is tricky in where it hides the items. If I failed I did not worry about it since it would randomly tell me to find different items when I retried the level.

A basic reading ability is needed in Where's My What. The font of the text is interesting. Closer to cursive in some regards. I misread quite a few words when I first started to play Where's My What. There is an addictive nature to finding the items and going to the next level in Where's My What. I enjoyed my time with Where's My What. It is a different flavor of the hidden object games than I am used to. Challenging at times, and fun most of the time.
