Ys Chronicles II
SCORE: 66
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for
Ys Chronicles II on the iPhone and iPad, commonly known as the iOS
platform. This action adventure role playing game contains a bump
fighting system. What does that mean? It means your character (Adol
Christin) bumps into the enemy characters. If he is stronger he does
damage until they die. If not then he just dings off of them. Enemies
can launch attacks while you are trying to mow them down.
Ys Chronicles II comes in multiple formats. They are Chronicles and
Original. Different sounds tracks are included. Players can have their
player walk, or the standard default of run. Running gets you around
faster, but can be harder to control. I ran right past enemies in Ys
Chronicles II. I had to pull a U-turn and go back for them. The gold and
experience are important.
Expect to grind in Ys Chronicles II. In fact a few minutes grinding is
all that is needed in some cases to defeat certain bosses. I love it
when I can trade time to make the game easier. Ys Chronicles II brings
back fond memories of grinding my way to success. Adol helps villagers
in Ys Chronicles II while trying to stop the demons that have infested
the land.
The bad content in Ys Chronicles II is blood, gore, violence, magic, and
more. I like Ys Chronicles II more than Ys Chronicles personally. I
suspected DotEmu would do the second one after doing the first one since
most packages of Ys contains I and II together. The rock music continues
in Ys Chronicles II. I got into it while I played this early action
adventure role playing video game.
The whole religious teachings and indoctrination of a goddess is
included in Ys Chronicles II. I went over this in my review of Ys
Chronicles. Maybe some day the video game industry will progress past
this issue. Until such time I will continue to report the spiritual
content I find. Whether it reinforces the teachings of Jesus Christ, or
attacks them, and tries to lead people astray.
