Aven Colony

Aven Colony is right up my alley. This is my kind of a video game. I love these city building simulations. To make Aven Colony even better it is on the consoles, and it is science fiction based. I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Aven Colony on the Xbox One. This game is also on the PC, and Playstation 4. There are also physical copies of this game available at retailers.

Aven Colony takes awhile to load. So once I got into the game I expected some nice graphics. Aven Colony looks fantastic. There are plenty of neat things to see in the different areas. The sandbox has ten areas for example. There are also numerous missions that can be completed while playing Aven Colony. This simulation video game is definitely worth the thirty dollars in my opinion.

The music in Aven Colony is fantastic. There is some good voice acting in Aven Colony. They really helped me understand the game, and how to manage all of the resources. I learned to keep the colonists happy, employed, healthy, content, and more in Aven Colony. I love being able to speed up time up to times eight in Aven Colony. Especially when the drones are 3D creating the buildings.

There are dangers in Aven Colony. Some aliens can infect your buildings with spores and destroy them. Storms can affect all kinds of things in Aven Colony too. Winter can also be a problem for the farms in Aven Colony. One of the buildings families can create in Aven Colony, is a bar. I did not see any alcohol in Aven Colony. There can also be some blood and violence in Aven Colony. You do need to zoom in to see it.

Aven Colony is a very large download in terms of size. It was just under ten gigs. Which means we recommend the physical copy for families on Internet plans with lower limitations. I had a lot of fun playing Aven Colony. I learned to go through the campaigns before messing around in the Sandbox. I feel families can find a lot of learning in how to manage resources in Aven Colony. I am thankful I was able to play and review this game.
