Ben 10
SCORE: 75
How often do you stop and count the blessings in your life? We are
getting a double blessing in terms of Ben 10 on the Xbox One. We
received a digital download code, and were told that a physical copy is
coming for an Unboxing video. I will be ready for that Unboxing video.
So will Kid Gamer, and Red the Scissors. I may ask my dad to link it
into this review when we receive it, and do the video.
It has been some time since I played a Ben 10 video game. Ben 10 on the
PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One is a beat em up kind of a video
game. It is better than many of the older Ben 10 beat em up video games.
At least I like this one is better. There are bright colors, and we
unlock all ten of the aliens. These aliens can also be upgraded in Ben
10.
The music is really nice in Ben 10. I enjoyed listening to it while
going through waves of enemies. Ben 10 is short though. There are only
three episodes in this game. I do not know if additional episodes are
planned or not. The good news is the price of Ben 10 is lower than most
new games. Ben 10 is selling for just under thirty dollars as I write
this review. Ben 10 comes in the physical copy format as well. I already
mentioned that didn't I? Well I want to accentuate that.
The main issue families can have with Ben 10 is the violence. I also ran
into some glitches while I was playing Ben 10. An example would be
hitting something with an elbow that was bouncy. The animation stayed
stuck for a few seconds. I also used the environment to kill a boss.
Thing is the game did not like that. So I had die and redo the boss
battle. I fell down the same manhole. These are pretty minor in my
opinion.
The levels in Ben 10 are long. The download size of Ben 10 is 2.52. You
will need that much space on the gaming machine's hard drive to play Ben
10. I wish more companies did what Outright Games did. Not every single
game needs to last forty hours and cost sixty dollars. There is room in
the video game industry for shorter video games that cost less. I would
like to see a sequel to Ben 10.
