Carried Away
SCORE: 66
I am pleased Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code
for Carried Away on the Personal Computer. This game was only playable
as long as I kept Steam up and running. I had to lower the graphical
specs to get it working on our gaming PC. Graphically it looked like a
late PS3 video game and I had to bring it down to a PS2 era game to get
it working. Yes I know we need to upgrade our gaming PC. If only some
more gaming companies would advertise so we could pay for one. All the
work Family Friendly Gaming has done for them makes them money. It would
be so nice if they thought of us when they are swimming in all the cash
they made.
Carried Away has nice music in it. The in game sounds can be annoying
though. The game music in Carried Away is upbeat and positive. Those
annoying in game sounds are things like a loud metal ding when you pick
up things like stars. I ran into some lag issues while playing Carried
Away on the PC. The loading time is fast for a game like this after the
virus software said it was not going to be harmful to our gaming
machine.
The issues families can have with Carried Away is blood, gore, violence,
difficulty and more. Carried Away starts pretty easy and then becomes a
cliff climb up. The learning curve is a bit too steep for my tastes. We
have a limited amount of money in Carried Away to spend on making the
objects we need to build the ski lifts. I have not explained what kind
of game Carried Away is yet have I?
Carried Away is a standard physics game where we operate a ski lift. We
must build the ski lift to get the people to the top. Make a mistake and
it will all come crashing down on you when it is fired up. That is a
really bad thing. On top of ski lifts we also have to build ramps so
people can jump over rocks, and land it without dying. Killing off your
clientele in Carried Away is a bad thing.
There are forty-four levels in Carried Away across three worlds. There
is campaign, workshop, and sandbox areas of Carried Away. Players can
make their own levels in this PC game if they do not mind not being paid
for their work. I got a headache from playing Carried Away on the PC.
There is mod support in Carried Away if you are into that. I wish
Carried Away had a better learning curve and was more catered to the
casual gamers. If you want to invest the time then you might find some
fun in this downloadable only PC game.
