Crystareino

I normally get into KEMCO video games. For some odd reason I could not get into Crystareino. I think most of that has to do with the pacing. Crystareino is painfully slow. From the battles to the storyline progression this game dragged on. Crystareino is also much more difficult than other KEMCO video games I have played. Hardcore gamers may get into Crystareino because of the difficulty.

The issues families can have with Crystareino are demons, magic, enticement to lust, lack of attire, bad language, and more. The graphics in Crystareino felt like they were somewhere between 16-bit and 32-bit. The battle layout reminded me of the first Phantasy Star video game. The directions in Crystareino were not always clear to me. Which made things take even longer.

The maps in Crystareino are small compared to other KEMCO role playing video games. The battles are really tough. One of the enemies likes to heal which makes it take longer to take them out. These enemies can also do massive amounts of damages to the players. Mages are extremely weak in Crystareino. Bosses can easily one shot a mage. Which is annoying.

If you go back to a previous area and try to grind you will get very little experience. Why would you want to do that? Because the next area after the boss is too hard for your team. So players need to grind in an area, and not beat the boss. Then when you are very over powered destroy the boss. From there you have to hope you are strong enough for the next area.

There is no quick save button in Crystareino like in previous KEMCO games. I had to go through the menu screens to save. Crystareino lets gamers still save anywhere so that is handy. I saw a church in Crystareino, as well as servants of God. I thought that was really cool. Characters can also change class if you so desire. That can help with abilities, but stats are lost. Maybe I was supposed to spend time grinding in different classes.
