Early Edition The First Season

Someone I worked with in the day job capacity suggested over and over again that I watch and review Early Edition. So I bought Early Edition The First Season some time ago and have struggled to get through this show. This show is painful on so many different levels. It also presents an interesting question. What if you had tomorrow's newspaper today? What would you do with that knowledge.

Gary Hobson decides in Early Edition The First Season to go around saving the lives of people who would die or get hurt badly. The paper will then change the story as he changes the future. Gary starts out the season feeling cursed. He uses it to gain wealth and then gives the wealth away in most cases. He keeps enough to pay for his hotel room. I do not understand why he does not get a home of his own.

The issues families can have with Early Edition The First Season is violence, danger, sex outside of marriage, lies, deceit, and a far left agenda being preached. Early Edition The First Season is anti-gun, anti-profit, anti-capitalism, and anti-opportunity. Which is ironic since Gary was given such a major opportunity. His friend Chuck is a fantastic character in Early Edition The First Season. Marissa is a blind woman who generally leads Gary astray.

The plots in Early Edition The First Season are generally thin and predictable. Gary helps others and generally winds up being accused of being part of the crime. The two part presidential assassination attempt is one of the most interesting arcs in Early Edition The First Season. There is also some light background checking into how Gary gets the paper. That is not explained fully in this season.

It takes seventeen hours and eleven minutes to watch Early Edition The First Season. There are six DVDs included in the package. I am glad that I finally got through this show. If I had that kind of a gift I would definitely do something different with it. Slowly amass some wealth and do a lot of good with it. There are episodic promos as the bonus features in Early Edition The First Season.
