FATED The Silent Oath
SCORE: 59
I became nervous when my name came up to play FATED The Silent Oath
on the PS4 VR. Why? My experience with VR has been kneeling in front of
a toilet. I heard there were other kinds of VR experiences. FATED The
Silent Oath is definitely one of those other kinds of experiences. In
many ways FATED The Silent Oath is like watching a movie. FATED The
Silent Oath lasts about as long (around two hours).
FATED The Silent Oath is nice to gamers. The motions are kept slow and
contained. That way we do not wind up getting headaches, and throwing
up. FATED The Silent Oath is also the first chapter of an episodic
adventure. I wonder if there will be a physical copy of FATED The Silent
Oath when all of the chapters have been released on the digital
download? I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for this game on the PS4 VR.
Issues families can have with FATED The Silent Oath are violence, blood,
spirits, false gods, and more. I like the character models in FATED The
Silent Oath. In fact the fantasy Viking world in FATED The Silent Oath
feels very authentic. There is not much game play in FATED The Silent
Oath. We shoot some deer with a bow, and solve a couple of simple
puzzles.
FATED The Silent Oath clocked in just under two gigs in terms of
download size. Hopefully your Internet plan can handle that much data
usage. I also hope your Playstation 4 has that much space left on it to
accommodate. FATED The Silent Oath sucked me in for the two hours I
played it. I liked the characters, and there was some drama going on in
this VR video game.
The beginning of FATED The Silent Oath is really strange. We start out
dead. That is right dead. Some strange spirit lady offers to restore us
to life for a price. Always a price huh? Can't be a free gift like
salvation from Jesus Christ. What is the price in FATED The Silent Oath?
We lose our ability to speak. We do get to nod yes or no to questions by
the characters in this game like your wife and father in law.
