Here at FFG HQ we were happily surprised when Hyper X sent us the
Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset. You can see us use it on our
unboxing video
here. One of the coolest features on the Hyper X Cloud Stinger
Gaming Headset was the 90 degree rotation of the headphones themselves
as shown in the video. I have been using the Hyper X Cloud Stinger
Gaming Headset for gaming to drown out other noises when I am trying to
focus. I find the Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset to be comfortable
and functional.
Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset came with an adapter that we found
helpful as our PC has 2 ports and most headsets come with one audio
jack. If you are into online gaming then this headset might be for you
as you can put the mic vertical to mute it (there is a click sound).
This is handy if you are having a conversation with somebody IRL that
you don't want others online to hear. Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming
Headset is a versatile headset as it can be used on devices with both
one or two audio ports. Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset looks and
feels high end, with that said it does come cheaper than some at $50
USD.
Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset has a steel slider to account for
varying head sizes. Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset has amazing
noise canceling features. This is both a good thing and a bad thing,
good for helping you focus but bad if people are trying to talk to you.
I have found the sound quality of the mic to be quite good, the surround
sound took me awhile to get used to. I would recommend Hyper X Cloud
Stinger Gaming Headset to hardcore online gamers or content creators.
