Lego Dimensions Harry Potter Team Pack
SCORE: 52
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Lego
Dimensions Harry Potter Team Pack on Black Friday 2016. This package
comes with Harry Potter, Voldemort, the Enchanted Car, and the Hogwarts
Express. The Enchanted Car can be turned into the Piranha Sub, and
Monstrous Mouth. The Hogwarts Express can be turned into the Soaring
Steam Plane, and the Steam Warrior.
The skills Harry Potter have are Water Spray, Target, Laser Deflector,
Diffindo, Flying, Illumination, Silver Lego Blowup, Stealth, Magic,
Parseltongue Doors, and Apparate Access. The skills Voldemort have are
Water Spray, Target, Laser Deflector, Diffindo, Flying, Illumination,
Mind Control, Silver Lego Blowup, Magic, Parseltongue Doors, and
Apparate Access. The two characters have almost the same skill set.
Which means having them in the same package is not very beneficial.
The Battle Arena that Lego Dimensions Harry Potter Team Pack unlocks is
Hogwarts Quidditch Arena By Moonlight. It feels unfair to be able to fly
over to the flags with either Harry Potter or Voldemort. We did not try
other flying characters like Superman. My assumption is they would be
able to fly as well in the Battle Arena for Lego Dimensions Harry Potter
Team Pack.
Voldemort's flying is a bit loose. Plus he has this blackness that
follows him and can make it hard to see. Harry Potter's flying is a bit
better. The Enchanted Car is fast, but loose in the controls. It really
likes going backwards. The Hogwarts Express is slow, and steady. I had
no control issues with it going around the Lego Dimensions Harry Potter
World Area. Which is decently sized.
We ran into a couple of glitches while playing with the Lego Dimensions
Harry Potter Team Pack. Families can get a few hours of replay out of
the Lego Dimensions Harry Potter World Area. Both vehicles are stable.
This surprised me with how far off the train hangs from the stand. Magic
is very prevalent in Lego Dimensions Harry Potter Team Pack. This team
pack is on the lower end of Lego Dimensions for me.
