Lili Child of Geos
SCORE: 64
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download
code for Lili Child of Geos on the Playstation 4. This quirky little
role playing game will also receive the much sought after physical copy
version. Lili Child of Geos is a one gig download. In terms of current
games that is a decent size. I wish it was a bit bigger and dealt with
the camera problems.
Lili Child of Geos has nice looking graphics in a weird fantasy world. I
mean weird too. We play a college student on a school project. We are
the only person in the class doing this project. We go to a land of wood
people, and save them from their slave spirits. The spirits reminded me
of demons. The creatures in Lili Child of Geos are really strange. Like
something someone on drugs would come up with. Like the information fish
for example.
The music in Lili Child of Geos is good. I enjoyed listening to it while
playing this game. Remember I mentioned the camera? Do not try to run
and take corners. I had to stop and rotate the camera to get things set
up again. That camera rotates so slowly too. It is painful. What makes
matters worse is we are constantly running around on missions between
different areas.
Lili Child of Geos has plenty of bad puns in it. There is magic,
spirits, and violence. Want to know how we beat the spirits enslaving
the wood people? We rip off flowers in a quick time event, after we have
jumped on their backs. We can also collect flowers we find. There are
three skills that can be upgraded in Lili Child of Geos. They are speed,
grip, and stealth. I went for speed early on because we run so slow.
It takes time to adapt to the controls in Lili Child of Geos. Even then
I was never too thrilled with them. The map on the screen can be turned
on or off easily. There is no voice acting so gamers will need to read
the instructions in Lili Child of Geos. The main character is a nerdy
Laura Croft wannabe with some short shorts. She shows quite a bit of leg
there on screen.
Lili Child of Geos tries something different. I give this video game
that. It did not resonate with me though. Others may get into this game.
I suggest watching a video first and see if it interests you. I felt
like Lili Child of Geos was a bit too shallow, and repetitive. There are
things to collect, find, and purchase in Lili Child of Geos. I learned
to watch out for those nasty guards that would knock me way back.
