Monster Trucks

When my dad purchased Monster Trucks on Black Friday 2017 I was very excited. This is a movie I wanted to see, so I was happy when he spent his money on it. I almost bought Monster Trucks myself. If you saw the FFG Haul video then you knew this review was coming. To see what else is coming and recently reviewed please click here. It took me 104 minutes to watch Monster Trucks on DVD. I am very thankful my dad bought this movie. He is constantly thinking of others before himself.

The story in Monster Trucks is interesting and extremely radical on the far left of the spectrum at the same time. There is an oil company drilling into the earth to get some oil. They come across a pocket of water and find some new creatures. These animals eat oil, and can learn very quickly. They are sort of a mixture of a dolphin and a squid. If it was a larger dolphin.

Monster Trucks promotes animal rights, environmentalism, and shows how environmentalists will go to any lengths to stop progress. One of the things Monster Trucks shows is how activists will plant animals and evidence to get their way. The police are shown as very weak in Monster Trucks. The main bad guys are the corporate in charge people and his goon squad security employees.

Some issues families can have with Monster Trucks is violence, accidents, cars crushed, destruction of corporate property, destruction of a home, employees told to lie, cover ups by companies, plumbers butt, bad language, and more. There are some funny moments in Monster Trucks. I love how these creatures can get into a large truck and control it. In fact they power it.

The kids involved in Monster Trucks wind up helping the creatures get back to their original home. How? There is a vent that goes down to where they where found. The corporate company is trying to poison them so they can get to the oil. I honestly did not understand why they wanted to poison the fantasy, fake, and mythical creatures. The radical environmentalists win in the end. So we are expected to celebrate higher gas prices, and less progress.
