Moto Racer 4

I am very thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Moto Racer 4 on the Playstation 4. This home console motorcycle racing game also comes in the much sought after and well respected physical copy format at retailers. I am very pleased Microids brought Moto Racer 4 over to the United States of America. This motorcycle game is fun for families.

Moto Racer 4 can be played in single player or multiplayer. There is a split screen for local multiplayer of Moto Racer 4. The single player modes are Career, and Quick Game. Under Career there is Survival, Lap Race, and Championship. The multiplayer modes are Single Race Championship, King of the Road, Hunter, Last Man Riding, and Golden Helmet. There are some neat twists in these modes for families. There is also online game play included in Moto Racer 4.

There are seven tracks, and ten racers in Moto Racer 4. One of the areas Moto Racer 4 excels at is the motorcycles. I did not count all of them while playing this road based video game. Moto Racer 4 can be fun for two family members at the same time. I appreciate that. I love it when modern video games include local multiplayer modes. Too many companies ignore it and expect us all to go play online.

The music in Moto Racer 4 is nice. The controls are decent most of the time. They felt really loose to me at first. It may have had something to with the speeds I was going. I had to go those speeds to win the races. When you crash in Moto Racer 4 (and you will crash), the screen blurs and then resets you back on the road. It is easy to crash in Moto Racer 4 which has three difficulty settings. I recommend families start on the easiest mode and work their way up. That way you will crash less when you start playing.

I liked setting goals in Moto Racer 4. I also noticed we could do tricks for some more speed. There is an awesome visual effect when we are speed boosting in Moto Racer 4. I had fun playing Moto Racer 4 on the Playstation 4. I wish there were more tracks though. That is what will bring the value of this game down for families. I am also not fond of driving against traffic in Moto Racer 4.
